Job Description: Job Purpose: The central role of this meddle management level position is to assist GEC Kabul Province Manager in designing and delivering of Girls Education Challenge (GEC) Program training workshops in the province. She/he is responsible to supervise the work of GEC trainers, CBE, ALC and ECCD teachers/mentors, and work closely with district government authorities, local Shuras (CECs, PTAs, CDCs and etc), and ensure that the program training plan is implemented in high quality standard , and on best interest of children. Key Accountabilities The main responsibilities of the position holder She/he will assist Provincial Coordinator in training need assessment, designing, and implementing the training work plans. Work closely with GEC trainers, communities (CECs, PTAs and CDCs and etc), and the District Education Department (DED)/ Provincial Education Department (PED) and identify the training needs and requirements Lead the development of trainings work plans (annual, quarterly and monthly), procurement of training stationeries and materials (training manuals and handouts). Ensure high quality training workshops have organized by GEC trainers for project targeted beneficiaries, and the trainings have significantly contributed to learning and development of girls’ education. Supervise the work of GEC trainers – CBE, ALPs teachers/mentors, and or facilitate and assist them in the delivery of program work plan. Insure that class observation are happening in line with project requirements/work plan and follow up findings, work on improvements Develop, review and update training materials and contribute into the proposal enrichment whenever required. Lead the team with initiative and professionally, guide the training team to achieve better results Assist the MEAL officer in the process of project training data collections and data management. Undertake regular supervision visits and assess the impact of trainings on the learning and development of project beneficiaries, identify training gaps/needs, and or areas of improvements - document best practices and lessons learnt. Assist the GEC Provincial Coordinator in producing of project progress reports, quarterly reports, and annual reports, and or as per donor reporting schedule Skills and Behaviours: SCI Values in Practice Accountability: · Ensure that the position holder work to the best of his/her ability and demonstrate high levels of commitment to SC Afghanistan in order to ensure the objectives of role and the country programme are met.
