JOB SUMMARY

Support for program data management and reporting for best efficiency and effectiveness on project/program level. Prepare projects reports based on projects contract. Compile of data for REP donor/ stakeholders reports. Facilitate exchange of information among CARE/programs stakeholders’, projects and department.

1. Provide Support for project Data management and reporting for best efficiency and effectiveness.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Set up Data Management and reporting system for both project level and field level.
Prepare REP reports based on Project Information Report format.
Prepare accurate qualitative and quantitative reports on time.
Ensure and present data analysis on time and accurate.

Ensure establishing database to track progress indicators.
Train field staff in writing standard reports.
Cross check the baseline data and ensure their accuracy.
Ensure the standard documentation of project.
Prepare project's monthly, quarterly and other period reports.
Prepare analytical reports to assist the project manager in decision making
Collect human interest stories and photos from projects and report them in reports and publications.

Develop formats for collection of data from the field.
Circulation of reminder to concerned supervisor for timely submission of the reports

2.         Facilitate exchange of information among provincial offices, projects and

Department.

      Ensure that project activities and development are reflected in CARE publications.

Prepare quarterly project update to reflect the project development and impacts through reports and case stories.
Demonstrate teamwork and extend cooperation with other REP sections, and other CARE projects and departments.
Oversee all project provincial data management process and ensure they are professionally conducted.

        3. Perform any other identical duty as assigned.

EDUCATION:                       University graduate or equivalent.

 WORK EXPERIENCE:       Minimum 3 years work experience in Data Management, MIS or other related fields.

 SKILLS:                                Written and spoken English, Computer operation especially database programs, report writing, good report designing skill

 LANGUAGES:                 Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English is required. Must be able to write reports in English of a high standard Also proficiency in Dari or Pashtu is a must.

 GENERAL:                           Minimum three years work experience in Data Management or other related fields.

 TRAITS:Build personal and inter project relationship, analyze issues, cultural sensitivity, Gender sensitivity, team work, establish a conductive working environment and persuade others
